How The Engravable Personalized Photo Mat Works
These engravable photo mats are picture frames that are designed to be individually signed by guests with our easy-to-use Signature Engraving Scribe™. This specially designed engraving scribe writes much like a regular ink pen, but its diamond-like tip permanently etches guests’ messages onto the high quality, elegantly polished silver alloy surface. Unlike traditional guest books, these unique wedding guest books will hold the signatures and sentiments of loved ones forever and will not fade over time. Indeed, we created our signature photo mat after discovering that cardboard signature mats fade over time, whereas with our special metal guest book picture frame, messages will last forever.
Our Signature Photo Mat is great alternative to a traditional paper guest book, and something that can be proudly displayed as opposed to stored away on a shelf and only rarely looked at as most guest books are. Signing Your Mat
Our Signature Engraving Scribe has been specially designed for use with our Signature Mat and platters. The scribe is very easy to use, and is not mechanically/battery operated.
Use the scribe just as you would with a normal writing instrument. The diamond tip will permanently engrave the signatures and wishes of your friends and family. A slightly heavier hand produces a deeper inscription.
Tips for Your Event
- Have an attendant explain how to use the Signature Engraving Scribe.
- Use the included Guest Card in a 5 x 7 frame to display the instructions.
- Attach the pen to the mat with a decorative string so that it is not removed.
- Remove the mat after everyone has signed it.
- Use the included polishing cloth to remove any finger prints from the mat.
Professional Engraving
In addition to having your guests engrave their own messages into the personalized photo mat, you can also choose to have the frame professionally engraved before the special event with any type of wording or image you desire, such as the wedding date, anniversary date, the school year, the years of serve to the company or company name, a special quote, saying, bible verse, song lyric, etc., or a special image or logo.
